CSB Process

Communicate to the Shambaugh CSB team your dates and receive a Letter of Acceptance.

Complete your Application Agreement that your CSB Office will give you. We will help you with the training outline, physical location of the jobsite and outcomes.

Send to Shambaugh the Contractor Agreement that will be signed and sent back to you.

Route your package to your Chain of Command for signature.

Realize that over 50 miles from your installation will require 0-6 minimum signatures.

After Approval Forms are signed, bring your packet back to your installations CSB Office for review.

Your Installation’s CSB office will then route your package to Base Legal for approval.

Base CSB will give you and Shambaugh the final green-light that your package is complete.

Complete coordination with Shambaugh Superintendent, Shambaugh Military Recruiter and Local 669 Business Agent.

Start Program.

One week out from completing your SkillBridge Program, connect with Shambaugh Military Recruiter to start the Full-Time application process, drug test/physical to transition into an Apprentice (if position is other than a Skilled Trade, then you are maybe a salaried employee and not an Apprentice).

For Skilled Trade Apprentices, Register Helmets to Hardhats so we can pay you more money when you start full-time.

Go back to base to begin out-processing.
